SERVICES: Graphic Design and Web Design
Our agency was given the chance to work with a Baltimore-based technology company that provides licenses for PC security software, CyberSpa/FreshStart. Liz Raton took charge of the project as the lead web designer.
“Amberly Thompson, the account executive for this project, did a fantastic job at coordinating communication between ourselves and the client,” Raton said. “She provided all the items we needed to get started and let us know the client’s feedback along the way. Together we created two modern websites that both the client and agency were happy with.”
Every project at our agency involves a collaborative effort. Amber Thompson was a key player in building a relationship with the client and digital team. With open communication, the project was successfully accomplished. Thompson stated that the agency streamlined strategy of letting her know who managed each part of the CyberSpa project made it easier to communicate with Allen Shay, CEO of CyberSpa.
“I worked with the client to make things as easy for him to understand and answer as possible. It was a lot of work to get done in a very short amount of time,” Thompson said. It could have been chaotic, but everything was kept organized and under control thanks to the agency.”
With Liz Raton working on web design, she needed someone to step in to help with branding. Don Twine, our digital graphic designer, joined the CyberSpa/FreshStart project by creating a new logo for the brand.
“The client was extremely happy with their new logo design,” Twine said. “They immediately started implementing it in all of their materials. The new logo gave the client’s FreshStart product and services a cohesive look. It provided a better symbolic message of what they were selling, and helped them to stand out more than ever before.”
The CEO of Cyber Spa, Allen Shay called the agency team a “well-oiled machine” and gave all members of the team the highest praises for helping every step of this launch process. The client has received positive feedback on the updated website and logo design.
Why did you like working on the project?
“This was a unique project as this was the first time I designed two different websites for the same company, as well as completing them back to back,” Raton said. “Since the client had very specific deadlines, we worked at a fast pace and brought in another designer, Jon Care, to help assist us in finishing the project in a timely manner.”
“I had a lot of specific direction from the client, yet still had a good amount of creative freedom to come up with design concepts,” Twine said. “I usually appreciate and enjoy that kind of mix, when working on a project. I find that it yields the best results.”
How did you help the client achieve their goals?
“At the same time as the web build, CyberSpa was in the process of launching their new Amazon and NewEgg online stores,” Raton said. “FreshStart’s new site that we built included a page where the users can find out which specific FreshStart product they need to purchase and linked out to the specific product page to buy. The launch of these sites and the online store helped kick off CyberSpa’s new, fresh online presence.”
“The client was looking for an entirely refreshed look for their brand,” Twine said. “They wanted a new, bright, colorful logo design that would work well in multiple applications and symbolize what their product could do. My logo design achieved all of this. This symbol from the logo scaled well for use as the client’s software icon, as well as their social media avatar. The logo as a whole worked well, in multiple iterations, on the client’s new website and promotional video. On the print side, the logo stood out well in the packaging and manual.”
