Compulse Integrated Marketing, the creative agency arm of Sinclair Broadcast Group, is looking for a skilled and highly motivated Search Marketing Specialist, with experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and other outreach programs to join our agency team. This person’s primary responsibilities will be setting up and administering search marketing, outreach and display, retargeting and geo fencing campaigns. Additional responsibilities include administering SEO related services such as Directory Listings, Reputation Management and report building for clients. In this role, you will be expected to continually develop, adhere to, improve and update SEM standards and apply those techniques. The Search Marketing Specialist must be able to hit the ground running and be a fast learner in a fast paced environment.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities Include:

 

  • Handle the production side of retargeting, outreach, and geo fencing campaign
  • Work with third party partners to manage and optimize paid search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns
  • Be able to prepare SEO and SEM reporting documents
  • Keyword research and optimization
  • Set up of directory listings and reputation management for clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and latest developments in paid search
  • Other digital marketing tasks as assigned

 

Experience & Skills Required:

 

  • 1-2 years of proven ability leading and implementing SEM strategy and campaigns
  • Hands on experience with Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Bing Webmaster tools
  • Ability to work with client services teams to ensure maximized performance
  • Knowledge of pay per click campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills, strategic thinker with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office

 

The following are preferred, but not required:

 

  • Basic knowledge of geo fencing campaigns and understanding of location based advertising
  • Ad writing skills
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and ability to read HTML code
  • Basic to intermediate web design and technology principles
  • Agency experience
  • BS/BA degree
